Examinations

Exams are possible in all methods of dancing taught at the school under the directorship of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing, (ISTD). Examination sessions are held most terms. The only term without examinations is the ‘Show Term’. Children are continually assessed in class and are selected for examinations when they have attained the required standard of technical detail and performance. The taking of examinations is not compulsory, although a child will not be able to move up to the next class until examination standard has been achieved.
